| For 50 EURO | a child who has been freed from the circus can buy a sewing machine and use it to build an independent existence. Our professional sewer will teach her how to work with the machine. | |
| For 110 EURO | we can accommodate and feed a pair of siblings for one month in our child refuge centre. They will also attend a good school, participate in social activities and their individual talents and interests will be supported and encouraged. | |
| For 500 EURO | we were able to build a toilet shed for a school in Hetauda, in the South of Nepal. The school has 350 pupils who are taught in four (!) classrooms. The school did not have a toilet and the children had to use a neighboring field instead, which was also used as a shooting range. For such a mundane need the children had to risk their lives. Some children were so afraid that they either used the schoolyard or did not come to school anymore. With the help of the parents, villagers, and your donation, we were able to provide them with this most basic of necessities. | |
| we are able to employ a qualified teacher for deaf people for a whole school year. In Nepal there are only a handful of schools for deaf children. People with any type of disability usually live at the fringes of the Nepalese society - some of them are even locked away in huts and receive their food through gaps in the wall. A good education is the best way to avoid this kind of treatment. |
